Organisers have unveiled a larger programme for Liverpool’s Pride, including headline performances, a city-wide celebration and the annual Pride March. Thousands of visitors are expected across the weekend.
Liverpool is set to host its most expansive Pride festival yet on the 24th and 25th of July 2026. Organizers are transforming the annual event into a comprehensive citywide celebration designed to draw visitors from across the country. The weekend festivities will launch with a major opening party at the M&S Bank Arena, featuring a star-studded lineup including the Sugababes, Beth Ditto, Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt, and Horse Meat Disco. These performers, along with other Liverpool LGBTQ+ artists set to be revealed during Pride Month, will set the tone for a weekend centered on visibility, community, and support.
According to the event organizers, all proceeds from the opening celebration will be dedicated to supporting the work of Sahir House and the broader Pride program throughout the weekend. The central highlight of the weekend remains the annual Pride march, which organizers are promoting as a visible show of solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community, inviting participants from all over the UK to join. Beyond the march and the concert, the festival will encompass various events at the Liverpool Experience Campus on the waterfront.
This portion of the celebration, hosted by Debbie Darling, will feature performances by House of Suarez, Sonia, and JesterBoy. Additionally, the festival will introduce a Pride Expo to foster connections between businesses, creative groups, and community organizations. To support the influx of visitors and ensure accessibility, dedicated transport links are being implemented to connect the various venues throughout the city's pride quarter.
