Nearly 500 children hurt in e-scooter incidents
Nearly 500 children were injured in e-scooter incidents recorded at three trauma centres, including one in Liverpool, between January twenty nineteen and December twenty twenty-four.
The research found serious injuries among children, with head injuries among the most severe cases and fewer than two percent wearing helmets. Researchers are calling for clearer safety messaging and a review of government legislation.
