More than three hundred and fifty homes in Liverpool have been visited during a pilot scheme targeting rodent activity and the conditions that can attract pests.
Council teams have been working door to door, treating infestations and identifying problems including excess rubbish, poorly managed waste and overgrown vegetation. The scheme has also revealed that many residents experiencing pest problems had not reported them.
