To mark the United Nations 'World Water Day', climate activists and residents from Ilkley Extinction Rebellion gathered at Ilkley Old Bridge for a World Water Wedding to celebrate and connect with the River Wharfe. They invited locals to pledge to protect the river and held a procession led by the Blue Water Beings whose blue costumes symbolised water and the life it sustains.
