Local Heroes - Judy Dewinter A former stockbroker who was diagnosed with incurable blood cancer at just 33 years old has just been recognised with an MBE for her services to the NHS. This week’s local hero is Judy Dewinter, who now serves as chair of the Royal Free Charity. She uses her experience as a patient to help improve care, support staff and fund medical research in London. Our reporter Cait Medearis has her story.
