Birmingham could be heading for a major road safety change, with twenty mile an hour limits planned for B roads, C roads and unclassified routes across the city. The region’s road safety commissioner says lower speeds would save lives and should not worsen congestion, but the plans have already proved divisive and would still need consultation before being introduced.Read full article
